Precautions for Using Teflon Heaters

The heater prevents the motor from becoming damp and cold, ensuring its normal operation. The motor can only operate normally when the grounding resistance is sufficiently high. Additionally, when the temperature is slightly low, the Teflon heater can also prevent the motor from starting up too cold.
Function of a Teflon heater
The Teflon heater prevents the motor from becoming damp. If the motor is left idle for an extended period, use the pre-heating function of the heater to remove moisture and avoid damaging the motor when plugging it in for initial testing.
Scope of application for the heater:
Maintain a high grounding resistance for the motor to prevent it from being exposed to high humidity and fluctuating ambient temperatures. Moisture accumulation can lead to condensation, causing the internal windings to become damp and cold, thereby reducing the insulation’s effectiveness. Additionally, avoid overheating of the motor—specifically, preventing excessively high temperatures that could cause certain components to age and render the insulation material ineffective. To achieve this, appropriate measures should be taken to lower the motor’s operating temperature. The second effect is to prevent the motor from starting up when it’s excessively cold (primarily applicable in regions with slightly lower temperatures).
The actual power of an indoor space heater is never related to the motor's output power.
Purpose of indoor space heaters: To prevent the motor from remaining idle for extended periods, which could cause the internal winding insulation to degrade due to moisture and cold.
Effect No. 2: Preventing the motor from starting up too cold (primarily applicable in regions with slightly lower temperatures). The method is to place a standard motor in a large room and install a small room-space heater inside the room. The output power of the room-space heater is typically not very high—usually between one hundred and two hundred watts.
Precautions for Using Teflon Heaters
High-voltage motor heaters, also known as motor room space heaters, are available for high-power, low-voltage motors as well.
Two effects: The first is to prevent the motor from becoming damp, and the second is to avoid excessively cold starts when the temperature is slightly low. One is a temperature-controlled heater, and the other is a typical household water heater. Its output power is generally relatively low, and since it’s a temperature-controlled heater, it can remain in operation continuously—even when the motor is not running at all.
To control this, simply connect the normally open and normally closed auxiliary contacts of the main circuit breaker in series with its control circuit, thereby preventing the heater from operating while the motor is running.

Causes of electric heater fires
1. Afterwards, if an electric heater is placed near flammable or combustible materials, prolonged exposure to high temperatures can frequently lead to fire hazards.
2. Inserting the wire ends into a power outlet without any power plug connected could lead to a short-circuit fault and cause a fire.
3. The heater was turned off halfway through, but if the electric heater hadn't been disconnected altogether, its temperature would have kept rising—and at that point, it almost set my flammable items on fire.
